flourishing floriculture, herbal medicine cultivation, innovative three-dimensional greening,
decorative planting walls, and effortless home gardening.
Our Rock Wool Cubes simplify seed starting and cuttings, promoting uniform root development throughout the entire cube. These versatile cubes easily fit into standard rock wool blocks, and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fibre mixes, and most growing media.
Rock Wool, a high-quality mineral wool, is derived from molten basalt and limestone spun into fibers, then compressed into various forms such as cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Ensure safety when handling Rock Wool by wearing gloves and a mask. Its fibers can irritate the skin and lungs upon contact or inhalation.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock Wool, particularly when it is wet.
2. Pre-condition Rock Wool in pH 5.5 water before use to dissolve lime.
3. Pre-soak for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on the Rock Wool size.
4. Administer water only when there is light; never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5°C to 28°C for most species. Temperatures above 26.7°C within the growing media can deplete oxygen levels and encourage root disease.
6. In low light conditions, water with a higher volume but fewer cycles-and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping Rock Wool overly wet. Excessive algae is a sign of over-watering. Minimize watering while the plant is young to encourage root setting, which is crucial for healthy growth.
