Elegantly designed 6x6x6 rock wool cubes, perfect for Tomato Greenhouse HydroponicsThis versatile rock wool substrate is ideal for greenhouse farming,
floriculture, herbal medicine cultivation, vertical greening,
planting walls, and home gardening, among other uses.
Rock wool Cubes are designed for seamless seed starting and cuttings, promoting uniform root development throughout the cube. They fit effortlessly into standard rock wool blocks and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most growing media.
Rock wool is a mineral wool crafted from molten basalt and limestone rock, spun into fibers, and compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Take precautions when handling rock wool by wearing gloves and masks, as the fibers can irritate the skin and lungs.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock wool, especially when wet.
2. Always pre-condition Rock wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soak Rock wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on size.
4. Water only in daylight-never water in the dark.
5. The optimal room temperature for most species is 18.5-28°C. Temperatures above 26.7°C within the growing media can deplete oxygen levels and encourage root disease.
6. With low light, water in larger volumes but with fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping Rock wool excessively wet. Excessive algae growth indicates over-watering. Minimize watering while the plant is young to ensure proper root setting, which is crucial for healthy growth.
