it is also perfect for planting walls and home gardening solutions, enhancing any space.
Rock Wool Cubes facilitate effortless seed germination and cuttings, promoting uniform root development throughout the entire cube. They are versatile enough to fit into standard rock wool block holes, and can be seamlessly used with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fibre mixes, and most other growing mediums.
Crafted from molten basalt and limestone, our rock wool is transformed into fibers and compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs, ensuring superior performance for your agricultural needs.
Important: Handle rock wool with care. Always wear gloves and a mask to prevent skin and lung irritation caused by the fibers.
1. Do not squeeze the Rock Wool, especially when it is wet.
2. Pre-condition Rock Wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soak Rock Wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Water plants only when there is light; avoid watering in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5°C to 28°C. Temperatures above 26.7°C inside the growing medium can lead to depleted oxygen levels and root disease.
6. In low light conditions, increase water volume but reduce watering frequency - and vice versa under high light.
7. Do not keep Rock Wool excessively wet. Excessive algae growth indicates overwatering. Minimize watering when plants are young to encourage root establishment.
