floriculture, medicinal herbs cultivation, and three-dimensional greening.
Perfect for planting walls and home gardening, among other applications.
Rock Wool Cubes facilitate effortless seed and cutting initiation, ensuring even root development throughout the entire cube. They seamlessly fit standard rock wool blocks and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and other growing media.
Rock wool is a high-quality mineral wool derived from molten basalt and limestone, spun into fibers and compressed into various forms such as cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Handle rock wool with care by using gloves and a mask, as its fibers may cause skin irritation and, if inhaled, lung irritation.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock Wool, especially when wet.
2. Always pre-condition Rock Wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soak Rock Wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Water only when there is light; never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal growing environment temperature of 18.5-28°C to avoid oxygen depletion and root disease.
6. With low light, water in larger volumes but fewer cycles, and the opposite in high light.
7. Avoid keeping Rock Wool excessively wet to prevent algae and root setting issues. Limit watering when plants are young.
