Seeding Rock Wool CubesOur premium rock wool substrate is the ideal choice for greenhouse farming, offering unparalleled support and growth capabilities.
Perfect for floriculture, herb medicine cultivation, three-dimensional greening projects,
vertical planting walls, and even home gardening applications.
Rock wool Cubes ensure seamless seed and cutting initiation, promoting even root development throughout the cube. They fit perfectly into any standard rock wool blocks, and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fibre mixes, and most growing mediums.
Crafted from molten basalt and limestone, rock wool is spun into fibres and compressed into versatile forms such as cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Handle rock wool with care by wearing gloves and a mask. The fibres can irritate the skin and lungs upon contact or inhalation.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock wool, especially when it is wet.
2. Pre-condition Rock wool in pH 5.5 water before use to dissolve lime.
3. Pre-soak the Rock wool from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Water only when there is light-never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5-28°C for most species. Temperatures above 26.7°C within the growing media can deplete oxygen levels and foster root disease.
6. In low light conditions, use more water with fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping Rock wool excessively wet. Excessive algae indicates over-watering. Minimize watering when the plant is young, as too much water can hinder root development, crucial for healthy growth.
