floriculture, medicinal herb cultivation, vertical greening,
planting walls, and residential gardening, among other applications.
Rock wool Cubes facilitate seamless seed and cutting initiation, ensuring consistent root growth throughout the entire cube. They effortlessly fit into any standard rock wool block holes and can be paired with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most growing mediums.
Rock wool is a superior mineral wool derived from molten basalt and limestone rock, spun into fibers and compacted into versatile cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Exercise caution when handling rock wool by wearing gloves and a mask. The fibers can irritate the skin, and inhalation may cause lung irritation.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock wool, especially when wet.
2. Always condition Rock wool in pH 5.5 water before use to dissolve lime.
3. Pre-soak for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on the Rock wool size.
4. Only water when there is light; never water in the dark.
5. The optimal room temperature for most species is 18.5-28°C. Temperatures above 26.7°C inside the growing media reduce oxygen levels, encouraging root disease.
6. Low light requires larger water volumes with fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping Rock wool excessively wet; an abundance of algae indicates overwatering. Minimize watering during the early plant stage; too much water inhibits essential root setting for healthy plant growth.
