as well as in floriculture, medicinal herb cultivation, and three-dimensional greening.
Ideal for planting walls and home gardening, among other applications.
Rock Wool Cubes offer an effortless solution for initiating seeds and cuttings, promoting consistent root development throughout the entire cube. These versatile cubes can fit into any standard rock wool block holes and can be used with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most other growing media.
Rock wool is an exceptional mineral wool derived from molten basalt and limestone, spun into fibers and fashioned into cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Handle rock wool with care by wearing gloves and a mask. The fibers can irritate the skin and, if inhaled, can cause lung irritation.
1. Avoid squeezing the rock wool, especially when wet.
2. Pre-condition rock wool in pH 5.5 water before use to dissolve lime.
3. Pre-soak the rock wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size.
4. Water only during the daytime; never water in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimal room temperature of 18.5-28°C for most species. Temperatures above 26.7°C within the growing medium can deplete oxygen levels, encouraging root disease.
6. Under low light, water with greater volume but fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping rock wool overly wet. Excessive algae indicates overwatering. Minimize watering when the plant is young; too much water can hinder root establishment, essential for healthy growth.
