Seeding Rock Wool CubesOur premium rock wool substrate is specially designed for optimal use in greenhouse farming, ensuring consistent growth and productivity.
Ideal for floriculture, herb medicine cultivation, innovative three-dimensional greening projects,
planting walls, and home gardening, offering unmatched versatility.
Rock wool cubes facilitate easy propagation of seeds and cuttings, promoting uniform root development throughout each cube. These cubes can seamlessly integrate into the holes of any standard rock wool blocks and are compatible with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most other growing mediums.
Crafted from molten basalt and limestone rock, our rock wool is spun into fine fibers and compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs, ensuring unbeatable quality and reliability.
Due to the nature of rock wool fibers, precautions such as wearing gloves and masks should be taken during handling to avoid skin and lung irritation.
1. Avoid squeezing the rock wool, particularly when it is wet, to maintain its structure and effectiveness.
2. Always pre-condition the rock wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve any lime before use.
3. Pre-soak the rock wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on its size, to prepare it for optimal performance.
4. Water the rock wool only when there is light, avoiding watering in the dark to prevent unwanted growth and disease.
5. Maintain the ideal growing environment with room temperatures between 18.5°C to 28°C. Temperatures above 26.7°C can deplete oxygen levels, leading to root diseases.
6. Adjust watering volume and cycles according to light conditions; more light requires less water but more frequent cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid overwatering rock wool to prevent algae growth. Minimize watering during the early stages of plant growth to encourage strong root development.
