Rock wool cubes facilitate seamless seed germination and cutting propagation, ensuring uniform root growth throughout. These cubes can fit into any standard rock wool blocks or be integrated with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and various growing mediums.
Crafted from molten basalt and limestone, rock wool is spun into durable fibers before being compressed into versatile cubes, blocks, or slabs.
To ensure safe handling, always wear gloves and a mask. Rock wool fibers may cause skin irritation and, if inhaled, can irritate the lungs.
1. Avoid squeezing the rock wool, especially when it's wet.
2. Pre-condition rock wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before usage.
3. Pre-soak rock wool for 30 seconds to 30 minutes, based on its size.
4. Water plants only during light periods and never in the dark.
5. Maintain an optimum room temperature of 18.5°C to 28°C. Temperatures above 26.7°C can deplete oxygen levels and lead to root diseases.
6. With low light, water with higher volume but fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping rock wool excessively wet. Excessive algae growth indicates overwatering. Minimize watering when the plant is young to ensure essential root establishment.
