Seeding Rock Wool CubesThis rock wool substrate is exceptionally suitable for greenhouse farming,
floriculture, medicinal herb cultivation, three-dimensional greening,
planting walls, home gardening, and more.
Rock Wool Cubes facilitate easy seed and cutting initiation, ensuring even root development throughout the entire cube. They are compatible with standard rock wool blocks and can be used with Aqua Clay, Perlite, Coco fiber mixes, and most growing mediums.
Rock wool is a premium mineral wool created from molten basalt and limestone, spun into fibers, then compressed into cubes, blocks, or slabs.
Exercise caution when handling rock wool by wearing gloves and a mask. The fibers can irritate the skin and lungs if inhaled.
1. Avoid squeezing Rock Wool, especially when wet.
2. Pre-condition Rock Wool in pH 5.5 water to dissolve lime before use.
3. Pre-soaking time ranges from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on the Rock Wool's size.
4. Water plants only during daylight hours; avoid watering in the dark.
5. The optimal growing environment temperature is between 18.5°C and 28°C for most species. Temperatures exceeding 26.7°C within the growing medium deplete oxygen levels, promoting root diseases.
6. Under low light conditions, water with larger volumes but fewer cycles, and vice versa.
7. Avoid keeping Rock Wool excessively wet. Algae growth indicates over-watering. Minimize watering while plants are young to ensure proper root establishment, crucial for healthy growth.
